Our Impressions of Chelmsford Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre
The rink is on the top deck of the Leisure Centre above the car park and has a standard size 56m*26m pad with seating for 600 spectators; maximum capacity is 1,200. Away Supporters usually congregate in the Zamboni corner next to their team's bench. The rink is surrounded by safety glass rather than netting and so visibility is pretty good from most locations. Please note that no unauthorised photography, neither still or moving is permitted.
There is a licensed bar (the only place where smoking is permitted), a cafeteria (limited seating) and vending machines. In the opposite corner to the main entrance is the Supporters Kiosk where a wide range of merchandise (Chieftains' and otherwise) is available.
