Our Impressions of The Showgrounds

The present capacity of the ground is 6,500, with a seated capacity of 1,500. The highest attendance of approx 12,500, occurred when Coleraine hosted Tottenham Hotspur in a European tie back in the 70's. Work is now under way to change the appearance of the ground by making it completely enclosed. This work includes building cladding round the exposed perimeter, moving the turnstiles and building 3 new toilet blocks. The Showgrounds is also the host ground to the Northern Ireland Milk Cup which runs every summer and includes teams from all around the world.
