From the A1
Exit the A1 at the junction with the A638 (Wakefield). At the roundabout turn left onto the B6474 towards South Elmsall. Turn left at the traffic lights and then turn right at the T-junction to stay on the B6474. Go over the railway line and turn right at the bottom of the road and then immediately left up Westfield Lane. The area is smack in the middle of west Yorkshire football territory and has a massive Leeds Utd, Barnsley, Sheffield Weds, Utd, support base. All these clubs contribute supporters to the blues and make FA cup games a bit special in particular. Frickley are a small club with big ideas and hopefully there one million pound ground improvement scheme will finally take off next season.
