Our Impressions of Emerald Park

The pitch is surrounded on three sides by stands.? All three stands are seated on the front three rows with standing room behind.? On the fourth side of the ground where the dug outs are, you will find the changing rooms tucked into the far corner.? Up from them is a type of 'directors box'. The canteen is on this side as well as the Ladies and Gents toilets. Behind the canteen is the bar with TV and Pool table and here you will also find toilets.

Behind the ground is the Magdalen Playing Field where local Borough League games are played.? There is also a kiddies playground in the furthest corner, a skateboard park and BMX track.

Directions to Emerald Park

By Road

From A12

On approaching Gorleston from Lowestoft on the A12.? About one mile after the Hopton roundabout turn left at a roundabout into the South Gorleston Business Park.? First right then first left (the only way at the moment as the park is being built) and this takes you to a single track lane. Stay on this lane and the ground will appear on the right.

From the A47

Turn right at the roundabout by the Vauxhall Holiday Park.? Stay on the bypass following signs for Lowestoft.? Go past the James Paget Hospital and turn right at the roundabout into the South Gorleston Business Park.? Then first right, first left and you are on the lane that leads to the ground. Alternatively, go thru Gorleston and follow the signs to the Crematorium.? Turn left at the Crematorium and follow the road for about two miles. The ground will be on the left.

There is a large car park at the ground, so parking in not usually an issue.
