Our Impressions of Caledonian Stadium

As it's relatively new the ground is tidy, neat looking and modern but it is relatively basic. There is open terracing behind both goals and all the way along the west (Kessock bridge) side of the ground.

The main stand on the east side occupies the middle 50% of the touchline and is all seated and covered, and flanked by open seating.

Capacity - 6,000 (2,200 seats)

[TITLE:General Info
Caledonian Park is situated on reclaimed land next to the A9 Kessock Bridge, right on the shores of the Moray Firth and on the edge of Inverness's Longman industrial area. Formed from two clubs; Inverness Thistle who where situated at Kingsmills in the Crown area of Inverness and Inverness Caledonian who's ground was in Telford Street near Clachnaharry Swing Bridge to the west of the city centre.

The new club used Telford Street for a couple of seasons but both are now housing and retail outlets respectively. Caledonian Park is a bit out on it's own where it is but there is plenty of parking, buses and it's not an enormous walk from the city centre (30 mins maximum). It is also a little open to the elements. There are plenty of cheap, good quality B&Bs to stay in.

Located in Portland Place, The Portland is probably the closest pub to the ground. This is a large pub, with several pool tables and dart boards, widescreen TVs.

Johnny Foxes

This pub is located in Bank Street, and is the busiest pub in town of a nightime. Usually has live music on every night, and is an Irish Theme pub.
