Our Impressions of Aggborough Stadium
Aggborough Stadium currently has a capacity of 6,250 with the away fans usually being allocated 900 tickets. This stadium has undergone much redevelopment over the last few years, with a new main stand built in 1994, to facilitate the promotion to the League, and the old stand had insufficient capacity! The Town End & The College End are located at either end of the ground, and offer good views of the action!
The food at the ground comes highly recommended, and can be purchased at the kiosks in each corner of the ground. For any away fan, you must try the famous (...or should that be infamous?) Aggborough soup!
Directions to Aggborough Stadium
Exit the M5 at the junction with the A456, and follow the signs towards Kidderminster. At the roundabout on the outskirts of Kidderminster (...Ring Road), turn left following the A451 to Stourport. Turn left again at the next roundabout onto the A448 towards Bromsgrove. Hoo Road is the first turning on right, and the ground is located about half a mile or so down, on the right.
Exit M5 at junction 6, and follow the A449 towards Kidderminster. As you approach kidderminster, follow the A449, by turning right at the first roundabout (Kidderminster & Wolverhampton), and then take the first turning on the left before the railway bridge. Follow Hoo Road, passing under the railway bridge, and ground is visible on the left.
The ground is approximately a 10 minutes walk from the station.
Local Area around Aggborough Stadium
This can be difficult at this stadium. the side street parking is very limited, with a lot of restrictions. There is parking available at the College (...located on Hoo Road just past the ground), but this gets full very early!
There is also a Council car park off Stadium Close, but this suffers from the same problem. Best to arrive early, and find a good pub.
