Directions to County Cricket Ground
Exit the M602 onto the A5063 dual carriageway (sign posted 'Old Trafford Cricket Ground'). Follow the A5063, until you cross the Manchester Ship Canal bridge. Immediately after the bridge, the road turns left into the White City Circle junction (signposted A5063 Manchester). Continue to follow the A5063 going straight over the junction, beware follow the A5063 Chorlton not Manchester. Go straight ahead on the A5063 (White City Way) to the T-junction with Talbot Road (A5067). Turn right into Talbot Road (sign posted 'Old Trafford Cricket Ground'). The ground is approx. half a mile along Talbot Road on the left hand side.
Exit the M6 onto A556 and follow the signs for M56/Manchester. Join M56 at junction 7 (signposted Manchester) and follow this road until it turns into a dual-carriageway (A5103). Follow the A5103 for about ? a mile, and then join left-hand lane to join M60 Ring road, following the signs for Stretford. Exit the M60 at junction 7, following signs for A56 Stretford. Follow the A56 Chester Road, and there are local signs on this road for Old Trafford Cricket Ground. After 1.3 miles the A56 splits, so move into the right-hand lane to join the A5067 Talbot Road (sign posted 'Old Trafford Cricket Ground'). Old Trafford Cricket Ground is one mile down the Talbot Road on the right.
There is a regular Metrolink service operating from Bury, Altrincham, and from Central Manchester. The MetroLink is also connected to both mainline railway stations, Piccadilly & Victoria, and runs to Old Trafford Station, next to the cricket ground.
114, 252, 253, 254, 255, 256, 257, 263, and 264
will drop you off at the Chester Road / Warwick Road junction, or bus numbers 17 & 115 will drop you in Talbot Road opposite the ground.
