Our Impressions of Sports Centre
This season the Leicester Riders moved have back to their birthplace, Loughborough University. The Riders, then known as the Loughborough All Stars, were based at the University from 1967 to 1980.
Loughborough University is world renowned and has produced countless world class sportsmen and women in virtually every sport.
As well as the Riders the university plays host to some of England's top sporting events such as athletics.
Directions to Sports Centre
By Road
From North & South
Exit M1 at Junction 23. Follow A512 towards Loughborough town centre. After 1 mile at roundabout you will pass University on your right. At next roundabout take 3rd exit into Epinal Way (A6004). 100m along on right hand side is entrance to University. Sports Centre is large yellow brick building immediately on right. Stewards will direct you to car parking.
From Leicester
Take A6 to Loughborough. Upon entering Loughborough turn left at first traffic lights (A6004) signposted Ashby A512, M1. After half a mile turn right at roundabout into Epinal Way. After two roundabouts and approximately 1.5 miles the entrance to the University is on the left.
