Our Impressions of Grant Park

A large pitch which seemed bobbly and boggy. Ground itself looks very dilapidated, rusting corrugated iron fencing around 3 sides and a crumbling stone wall on the other do nothing to enhance the fading red paint on the changing rooms, turnstiles, teabar and covered stand. Stand is wooden and by all accounts, uncomfortable and with a poor view.
On the opposite side of the pitch is a tin-roofed covered terrace, which is small. Grass banking sits behind one goal, while the other end of the ground appeared closed off.

Pitch is surrounded by a whitewashed wall, with a single pole gate for ambulance or mower access. The gate has the smallest turnstile doors I have ever seen, you have to turn sideways to get through. Changing rooms are in one corner of the pitch.
There is a club shop located by the turnstiles, with a full range of merchandise from replica shirts to lighters and keyrings.

Directions to Grant Park

By Road

From Aberdeen or South

A96 towards Elgin. Just after Lhanbryde village, take B9103 past the MOD radio listening station and follow for 6 miles. This brings you out in the town. Turn right and follow road to harbour, then take first right, second right and first left. This brings you to MacDuff Street and the Social Club. For the ground, take the next left, go straight over and the ground is at the end of the street on the left.

From Inverness and North

A96 to Elgin, then take A941 to Lossiemouth. Follow directions above from the harbourside.

Unknown, services presumed to run from Elgin.
