The Sixfields Stadium has been the home for Northampton Town since 1993, and is a purpose built stadium on the outskirts of the town. The capacity (approx 7600) is not the biggest in this league, but is sufficient for a club of this size & status.
Obviously, as this stadium was on built in 1993, the facilities are very good, with the facilities for disabled supporters being truly outstanding. The stadium consists on three single tier stands, with the remaining (main) stand being a larger.
Away fans are normally allocated approx 1,000 tickets, and are usually located in the south stand, which is located behind one of the goals. As this is a relatively new stadium the views are obviously excellent.
Note : At Sixfields you are unable to buy a ticket at any of the turnstiles! Tickets have to be purchased from the Portacabin outside the South Stand. Please allow plenty of time to get into the ground, as this ticket arrangement can take a while!
