Pubs Near County Cricket Ground

Larwood and Voce Tavern

The pub is a real away fans haven, and is highly recommended for any travelling fan. Situated only a few hundred yards away from the Bridgford Stand where the away fans are situated, this pub offers excellent food, a big screen TV, and above all a warm welcome for away fans. The pub itself adjoins the cricket ground. To find the pub from the ground, turn right off Radcliffe Road, near the pedestrian crossing, into Fox Road, and the pub is approx 100 yards along of the right hand side.

Trent Bridge Inn

The famous Trent Bridge Inn is situated opposite the county hall and Trent bridge. This is a large pub, with good food, big screen TV, and a late bar/club on Friday and Saturday nights. There is no outdoor seating though, and limited parking. They employ bouncers on match days who won't let anyone in without a home ticket. Downer!

The Casa (...formerly the Aviary)

Situated on the River Trent on the City side of the River. This is a typical Casa bar, minimal decor in the Ikea style, and only recently opened (Aug 2000), large outdoor seating area overlooking the River Trent, good parking. Providing you haven?t got away colours on you shouldn?t have a problem getting in.

The South Bank Bar

Located on the Trent Bridge, this pubs is very popular on any sporting day. It's a sports friendly pub with 2 large screens and 4 televisions. It is 1 minutes walk from Nottingham Forests' ground and the same distance to the Trent Bridge cricket ground. It sells a large variety of beers and lagers and there is a very good selection of meals. It is an ideal place to go for breakfast before a Test Match as the pub opens at 9:00am for Test matches and weekends. There is no parking as such, people go there to drink really!

The Stratford Haven

This pub is located just off Bridgford Road, behind the cricket ground. It serves real ale, and is fairly new and very popular

Sports and Media bar - fantastic for sports - a number of big screens showing a variety of sports events (worth a mention as it is sports oriented)

The Pit and the Pendulum

Located just off Market Square, up from High Street. This is not a football pub, but is a great themed pub. It?s worth a look for novelty value alone

Fast Food Near County Cricket Ground

The legendary Hooters pubs. This will not be to everyone's taste, but if you fancy some good food and drink (although it's a little bit expensive), and want to be served by semi naked ladies, then this is a must. To find the pub from the train station, turn right and right again. At the end of the road, cross the dual carriageway and you can't miss it. From the ground, walk along the Trent Bridge and carry along the carriageway past Meadow Lane, and Hooters is about half a mile along, on the right.

Radcliffe Road 2 minutes from Forest/County Ground (you could spit at it from the Cricket Stand that runs on the opposite side of Radcliffe Road) - 3 in City Centre along with a huge numbers of pubs and bars.
