The only racecourse in Yorkshire devoted entirely to racing over the 'Jumps'. Racing on the present site at Wetherby began on Easter Monday 1891, although records indicate that there was racing on nearby Clifford Moor in 1683. Wetherby stages a popular two-day meeting at Christmas.
Description: Wetherby is a left-handed oval track of a mile and a half. A galloping course with a long, slightly uphill run-in.
Concessions for pre-booked parties: Parties of 10+ can purchase Tattersalls tickets at 8.00 per person, plus one free ticket for every 10 purchased.
Accompanied children under 16 years of age are admitted free of charge.

Location
The racecourse is situated just east of the town of Wetherby on the York Road (B1224), adjacent to the A1.
The nearest railway stations are at Harrogate, York and Leeds.
