Our Impressions of Notcutts Park

The ground contains a modern stand with a few rows of seats at the front and standing accommodation behind. The ground is at the top of a hill and the stand and clubhouse offer the only protection in adverse conditions. The view of the Suffolk countryside and nearby Martlesham Creek more than make up for this in fine weather.

There is a smart modern clubhouse with a bar, and a kitchen serving hot food and drinks to the right of the bar. A TV can be found to the right of the serving hatch for the half-time and full time scores. Club merchandise (e.g. scarves) is available at the bar.
Ladies and Gents Toilets are available in the clubhouse (towards the changing rooms) and Gents toilets are also available from outside.

Notcutts Park, like Felixstowe's Dellwood Avenue, is unusual in having collapsible floodlights. Apparently, in this part of Suffolk, upright floodlights offend the both the neighbours and Suffolk Coastal District Council.
Football Nearby

It is often worth arriving early at Notcutts Park as Suffolk and Ipswich League Senior Division Team Woodbridge Athletic (and their reserves) play on an adjacent pitch with a 2.30pm (or 2.00 pm Dec to Feb) Kick Off.

If you arrive and find the match is off the nearest Jewson League Clubs are Ipswich Wanderers, Felixstowe & Walton United, and Whitton United (on the other side of Ipswich).
